Referral to Treatment (RTT) Statistics compliance review – implementation of recommendations. 

I would like to thank you and your team for the compliance review of NHS England’s Referral to Treatment (RTT) Statistics and your conclusion that they continue to meet the standards set out in the Code of Practice for Statistics. 

We welcome the recommendations you made in your review. As an annex to this letter, I set out progress against each recommendation. We have recently released a new Response to OSR compliance review recommendations page on our website that sets out the actions we have taken against each recommendation, the improvements we have made, work underway, and future developments.  

I hope this provides a useful summary of our progress and plans. We remain committed to continuing to update you as our work continues.
