Pre-empt:

Pre-empt when known misconceptions, definitional risks, seasonal effects or headline-grabbing figures could distort understanding.

Correct or escalate:

Correct or escalate when misuse is material, repeated, high profile, used in official or public debate, or likely to affect understanding, trust or decisions.

Review:

Review after significant releases or interventions to understand whether users received, understood and acted on the intended message, and whether future statistics or communications need to change.
