Thank you for your letter of 15th January requesting an assessment of Adult Social Care Provider statistics in England produced by the Department of Health and Social Care.  

We note the changes that you have made to these statistics over the past year, following the introduction of digital social care records. These include restructuring your releases following user feedback, developing the Capacity Tracker as a stable data source, and expanding the range of metrics reported.
