Assessment of ONS statistics for National Statistics designation

Thank you for your letter of 3 March requesting the assessment of:

• Deaths in the care sector statistics, England and Wales
• Financial Survey of Pension Schemes statistics

I welcome your endeavours to publicly demonstrate the compliance of these statistics with the Code of Practice for Statistics. My teams will be in touch with the relevant statisticians to agree the timescales for these assessments.
