Thank you for your letter dated 24 July 2025, in which you provided an update on the work that the Gambling Commission is undertaking to address the recommendations set out in our May 2025 Review of the Gambling Survey of Great Britain (GSGB).   

I note the publication of the Gambling Commission’s GSGB Review and response to OSR report on your website, including the work you have already completed and your proposed actions to further improve the statistics. These are positive initial steps, but I recognise that there are still many improvements to be implemented. I note that you are aiming to have addressed many of OSR’s recommendations by the time of the second annual report of the GSGB in October 2025.
