Protocol 2 Practice 6 of the Code is to include the name and contact details of the responsible statistician in statistical reports.

Department for International Trade (formerly Department for Business, Innovation and Skills) has told us that it would like to withhold the names and contact details of the responsible statistician in its statistical report on export licenses, for security reasons.

The Authority has confirmed that in the circumstances it is acceptable, instead, to provide a generic email address and telephone number.
