Confirmation of National Statistics status for Mental Health Act Statistics, Annual Figures. These statistics were previously called ‘Inpatients formally detained in hospitals under the Mental Health Act 1983, and patients subject to supervised community treatment’. National Statistics status was removed from the predecessor statistics while they transferred to a new data source.
