Monitoring Review 1/14

Following publication of the Report of the Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust Public Inquiry (Chaired by Robert Francis QC – and referred to hereafter as the Francis Inquiry Report) in February 2013, the UK Statistics Authority undertook to conduct an independent review of patient outcome statistics in England that are currently recognised as official statistics (and therefore within the Authority’s statutory remit).
