Summary of findings
Introduction
This is one of a series of reports prepared under the provisions of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 . The Act requires all statistics currently designated as National Statistics to be assessed against the Code of Practice for Official Statistics . The Act also allows Ministers to request an assessment of other official statistics in order for them to gain National Statistics status. This report is in response to such a request. The report covers the sets of statistics reported in Scottish Inpatient Patient Experience Survey National Results (Inpatient National Results) and Scottish GP Patient Experience Survey National Results (GP National Results), produced by the Scottish Government.
