Thank you for your response to my letter of 9th May permitting an alternative release time for the first results of the 2021 Census. In my letter to you, I committed to being as open and transparent with users as possible.
On Tuesday we published a blog notifying users and the public that the first results from the 2021 Census will be published on Tuesday 28th June: First census results are on their way, 24 May 2022. This blog sets out what users can expect from the first release, and makes reference to the 11am release time to enable laying of results in Parliament.
