Next steps

These recommendations have been considered and approved by the UK Statistics Authority. We will make the changes to the Code of Practice on 5 May 2022. OSR will publish a table listing alternative release permissions on its website. These changes will be publicised, such as via our website, Twitter account and the OSR newsletter.  

Approvals granted by the Director General for Regulation will be listed on the OSR website and made clear by producers in their release announcements.
